The family has declared options on two 19,900-dwt units at Fukuoka Shipbuilding, taking the number of sisterships it has at the yard to seven.
The vessels have been booked by the Rieber companies Atlantis Vest and Inventor Shipping and will all be operated in the Hansa Tankers pool. When TradeWinds reported on the first tankers being ordered in September last year, a price of $32m per vessel was mentioned.
