Navigator Gas secures one-year charters for LPG duo

Wilbur Ross-backed LPG owner Navigator Gas has secured one-year charter deals for two of its handysize gas carriers.

The 20,500-cbm Navigator Scorpio and Navigator Gemini (both built 2009) are both reported to have been taken by Trafigura at $1.1m per month, or $36,700 per day per vessel. Some say the deal is for six months with options to extend.

The Navigator Gemini has, in the past year, been on charter to PDVSA at $980,000 per month.
