The 6,402-teu MOL Performance, MOL Progress and MOL Priority (all built 2002) had been linked to interests of the Evangelos Marinakis-controlled company.
The ships are said to have been sold for a price “in the very high teens” but sources close to the Greek owner deny any acquisition and add that the market outlook does not support the move. It is believed the vessels remain on the market.
