The 52,000-dwt bulker Sinin (built 2005) has been sold at auction in China. The Tsuneishi-built vessel, which is in the fleet of Irano Hind Shipping, achieved $13.7m. The ship was in the hands of Somali pirates for a period of seven months in 2011.
