This week, at the earliest opportunity, the Norwegian company terminated a shareholder agreement with Norden’s other major stakeholder, Motortramp, which boasts a 28.1% holding.

The agreement meant that the two could not sell shares to a third party but would give first refusal on stocks to the other.

The pact was signed in October 2004, when Rasmussen bought a 20% stake in Norden and tied the two investors together for at least 10 years.
