Copenhagen’s maritime cluster ably demonstrated its global influence last week with the inaugural Danish Maritime Days event, which successfully showcased the country’s own ambition, as well as its deep-seated cultural desire to be open to new and creative thought from elsewhere.

At the week’s heart, more than 200 of shipping’s key international decision makers gathered in one location to brainstorm how to unleash the industry’s potential as it faces doubling in size over the next 15 years.
