Not only did Winje (55) receive a total renumeration of NOK 4m ($630,000) but Winmar also paid a NOK 4m dividend to its shareholders, with Winje set to receive most of that as he holds 98% of the shares. The only other employee, Ho Hyun (HH) Kim, previously with Halla Shipbuilding, holds the remaining stake.
Winmar has managed to increase its pre-tax profit from NOK 5m to NOK 6m and its revenues from NOK 12m to NOK 16m.
