The vessel (right), which has been idling off the northern coast of Denmark this week, is currently scheduled to berth in Klaipeda around 25 to 26 October, sources reveal.

Several weeks of commissioning will then ensue before the facility comes online in early December.

The arrival of the FSRU, which was delivered by Hyundai Heavy Industries in May, is a big event for Lithuania as it marks a move to diversify the country’s energy supply away from its main supplier, Russia.
