“New start, new dream” — that is the slogan of embattled STX Offshore & Shipbuilding.
The Chinhae-based yard, which is under restructuring, is working hard to rebuild its reputation as a world-class shipyard and to win back owners’ faith and trust.
In an exclusive interview with TradeWinds, company chief executive Jung Sung-Leep says normal operations are taking place at STX.
“Our company has opted to come under a voluntary business normalisation programme by creditors banks,” said Jung.
