The first of a new generation of mass-produced, fuel-efficient offshore vessels has been unveiled by Nam Cheong in Singapore.
Called the NCA80E, the in-house design is for a 64.8-metre diesel-electric anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel of 80 tons of bollard pull.
Nam Cheong chief executive Leong Seng Kiat says the design comes in response to demand from clients for increased fuel efficiency.
