A US judge has approved the sale of a Vista Shipping combination carrier (OBO), while coal trader Flame has seized a Swiss bank account controlled by a Vista affiliate.
District Judge Robert Doumar, of the US federal court in Norfolk, Virginia, accepted the $8.3m winning bid by the chartering arm of Hong Kong trader Noble Group after it deposited the cash in the court’s registry.
