The Saverys family is set to take its privately owned liner shipping company under the wing of its publicly listed Belgian operations.
Plans are being made to integrate Delphis into larger listed vehicle Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) to create a conglomerate spanning the liner, bulker and aviation sectors, say market sources.
The move follows managerial changes that saw Delphis founder and managing director Alexander Saverys succeed his father, Marc, as chief executive of CMB.
