Wilbur Ross-backed Navigator Holdings has added two more LPG carriers to its growing fleet with a newbuilding order in South Korea.
The Nasdaq-listed company has gone to Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for a pair of 22,000-dwt semi-refrigerated units for delivery by the first quarter of 2017. Informed sources say they are costing around $51m each.
The price appears attractive for the yard, according to one LPG broker.
