Transpetrol of Belgium has become the third-largest shareholder in Oslo-based very large gas carrier (VLGC) owner Aurora LPG and now holds 9.8% of the stock.
Transpetrol was earlier a partner of rival owner Avance Gas — which operated two of its ships — but it pulled out last year.
Most of the other big shareholders of expanding Aurora are institutional investors, including JP Morgan with 14.1%.
