Spain is preparing for a new era of LNG trading that will allow the country to develop both small-scale and big-end business opportunities at its network of LNG receiving terminals.

Enagas logistics and commercial director Fernando Impuesto Nogueras told delegates at this year’s Madrid LNG & Shipping Forum that new business is emerging that could expand large logistics activities, such as cargo reloads, spot trading and transhipments, as well as small-scale LNG movements by truck, bunker vessels and possibly rail.
