Developer Engro Co and the Pakistani government — which are developing the $145m import facility through Engro subsidiary Elengy Terminal Pakistan — are understood to be pushing to see the regas vessel in place and operational by January, which is in advance of a planned start-up date before the end of the first quarter.

Excelerate, which recently sealed a deal with Dubai Supply Authority to charter one of its FSRUs to the emirate, has yet to name the vessel that will be used as the FSRU for the Pakistan project.
