Eco-vessel pioneer Reederei Nord has fixed another newbuilding for a large premium for use in services jointly operated by TS Lines, Cheng Lie Navigation and KMTC.
The German owner, which is stacking up on eco-containerships, has fixed the 1,730-teu Nordpanther (built 2014) for between nine and 11 months at $12,000 per day, say brokers.
The rate is between $500 to $750 per day higher than the same charterer paid to take a sistership earlier this year.
