The vessel is the only ship registered as managed by Piraeus-based Alnav Naftiliaki, a company with more than 40 years of history in shipping. Alnav has run no other vessels since 2002, when it sold the 40,000-dwt bulker Tetien (built 1984).
Alnav’s London office, Alcyon Shipbroking & Trading, confirms the sale, while Vergos declines to confirm or deny it, citing company policy to “not comment on such information”.
