Greek shipowner George Economou is said to be putting up for sale two modern crude carriers currently listed with Heidmar’s VLCC pool, Seawolf Tankers.
Brokers say the Shanghai Jiangnan-built, 297,000-dwt Desimi (built 2011) can be inspected in Angras Dos Reis, Brazil, this week.
The Solana, a ship of the same tonnage but built one year earlier at the same Chinese shipyard, is en route to Singapore where it will be open for inspection upon arrival later this month, brokers add.
