Older very large gas carriers (VLGCs) are finding it more difficult to attract buyers in the sale-and-purchase (S&P) market.

Brokers say banks are increasingly sceptical towards early 1990s-built tonnage because the spot market has fallen sharply from previous peaks earlier this year.
