Isle of Man-based shipowner LT Ugland is believed to be offloading the Shin Kurushima Dockyard-built, 46,000-dwt Emily Manx (built 2001). The ship is said to have gone to a European buyer, possibly a Greek owner, for $10.5m.
Shipowner Lars Torger Ugland says he cannot comment.
The Emily Manx, the oldest vessel in the company’s fleet, was put up for sale in November.
