The three million tonne per-annum (mtpa)-capacity terminal received its first cargo this month via a shipment from the PNG LNG plant in Papua New Guinea under a long-term sale-and-purchase (SAP) agreement with the ExxonMobil-led project.
The terminal is due to be expanded to handle 10 mtpa in a second phase.
