Norwegian shipowner Awilco LNG is putting the second of a trio of early 1980s-built LNG carriers into layup in Southeast Asia.

Company chief executive Jon Skule Storheill confirms the 125,556-cbm WilEnergy is to be laid up alongside its 125,660-cbm WilPower (both built 1983) in Indonesia.

The WilEnergy was redelivered by its last charterer, Iberdrola, in October but has remained unfixed since then.
