New Delhi-based Naveen Bhansali and Chandan Preet Singh have launched Encore Shipping to provide research and consultancy services to domestic owners and charterers.
Both brokers were previously employed by London-based Icap Shipping at its New Delhi office.
Bhansali believes India has huge potential. Although various foreign shipbrokers want to invest in India, he claims Indian brokers are better placed as they understand the local market better.
