McDermott, which is a global provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services, says its 151-metre DB 50 (built 1988) set the record in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM), without naming the specific project.
The vessel completed the installation of a drilling and production platform for the US outer continental shelf (OCS) that included the heavy lift of the 3,250-ton jacket, which is its largest to date.
