This is the very first contract announced by a tier-one subsea company this year, although all contracts are not always revealed. New contract awards are being closely watched, given the state of the offshore markets.
No value has been revealed for the small contract but sector analysts tell TradeWinds the value is probably in the region of $45m, with completion in the second half of the year.
