The Stavros P (built 1994) is said to have gone to Chinese buyers for $4m. Lydia Mar Shipping of Greece was said to have bought the ship for $46.5m in October 2007, just after the onset of the deep global economic and shipping crisis.
However, while the vessel is listed on several databases as being under the management of Lydia Mar, it does not appear on the company’s website.
