The vessel, which had 155 passengers and 55 crew onboard, was departing the breakwater at 11.40pm on 7 July last year when it suddenly and unintentionally started to turn hard starboard. In the narrrow space, it hit the breakwater, breached the hull and the ferry started to take on water.
The vessel managed to return to the berth and all crew and cargo were safely evacuated.
