US shipbroking has lost one of its larger-than-life figures with the death of MJLF president Robert “Bob” Flynn on 20 February in Connecticut.
Flynn’s death was described as “sudden” by the firm and sent a shock through the shipping community in Connecticut and well beyond.
Flynn, 62, was a genial bear of a man whose hobbies ran from Harley Davidson motorcycles to croquet.
