Bulkers
An owner in Taiwan is understood to have paid $7.4m for the Japanese-controlled, Shin Kurushima-built, 46,000-dwt bulker Copper Queen (built 2001).
The Japanese-controlled, Imabari-built, 28,400-dwt bulkers Sat Bellatrix (built 2009) and Sat Nunki (built 2008) are said to have gone to a European buyer for $20m en bloc.
Tankers
Nissen Kaiun of Japan has reportedly sold its stainless-steel chemical tanker Bidadari (built 2003) to Vietnamese interests for $8.3m.
