The world’s largest independent boxship owner has 20 vessels of between 4,250 teu and 4,600 teu with charters due for renewal in the next two years.

Their future is uncertain as Seaspan shifts focus to expanding its newbuilding orderbook in the large containership sector.

Eleven of the panamaxes see their high-paying charters expire this year, while charters on the remaining nine end in 2016.
