TBS Ocean Logistics chief executive Greg McNelis confirmed in an interview this week that TBS is taking in the 55,900-dwt Torm Regina (to be renamed Sky Magnolia, built 2011), which was delivered on 22 February.
TBS launched the pool last June and has grown it to 14 vessels. Most come from TBS’s sister company, Valhalla Shipping, which has been set up as a debt-free vehicle to make opportunistic secondhand acquisitions in the supramax and handysize categories.
