This week alone on Wall Street the Standard & Poor’s (S&P) and Dow Jones industrial average hit an all-time peak.
Meanwhile, the Nasdaq composite index of shares crossed the 5,000 mark for the first time in 15 years.
And while the dollar reached an 11-year high in the US, in London the FTSE All World Index also posted record highs in recent days.
