Daebo International Shipping Co Ltd (“Daebo”), a substantial Korean shipping company, filed an application to commence rehabilitation proceedings in the Seoul Central District Court on 11 February 2015. Daebo is merely the latest in a number of high-profile insolvencies in the shipping world and is not likely to be the last.
On 6 March 2015, the Seoul court decided to commence rehabilitation proceedings for Daebo.
