Provisionally named LNGVOY, the new document has been drawn up under a working group sub-committee of Bimco with input from The International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL), who are described as making “good progress” on the draft document.
“A draft of LNGVOY and a new bill of lading to accompany it will soon be available to interested parties to allow for industry feedback before the documents are finalised,” said working group member Ingolf Kaiser, a partner with law firm Stephenson Harwood.
