It appears to have torched two capesizes this year, although it has another 15 ships, either bulkers or ore carriers, built before 2000.
Its latest capesize to go is the 151,000-dwt Silver Merchant (built 1995), sold to Bangladesh for a full $413 per ldt, or $8.2m. The deal includes 1,800 tons of bunkers. The ship was purchased as Brisbane in July 2011 for $16.9m.
