Sources say the 179,000-dwt Houheng 2 (built 2011) has been sold to the Belgian owner for $30m, which is in line with market expectations.
There has been little capesize sale-and-purchase (S&P) activity recently (see Baltic Trading story, page 3).
The Hanjin Subic-constructed Houheng 2 is a sistership to another vessel in the Cobelfret fleet, Lowlands Prosperity (built 2012), which was purchased from the Chinese outfit for $50m in December 2013.
