The Hyundai-built, 179,000-dwt Baltic Tiger (built 2011) and Baltic Lion (built 2012) have been on the market for some time, during which bulker values have dropped substantially in the worst market since the 1980s.
This week, brokers suggested the duo had been committed for $64m en bloc to a Greek buyer, with Diana Shipping and Navios both in the frame.
