The 75,700-dwt Dewi Laksmi (built 2011) is heading for Puerto Bolivar, Ecuador, where it will be available for inspection at the end of this month, sources say.
Its sale is understood to be bank-driven, since the Guangzhou Huangpu-built ship appears to be under the control of ING Bank of the Netherlands.
Its previous owner was Indonesia’s Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line.
