Chief executive Jon Skule Storheill confirms the company has had a number of approaches from interested buyers. He says the steam-turbine vessels have been inspected by several parties working on floating regasification projects, which require LNG storage units. He adds that Awilco has also had several offers on the trio ranging from the serious to the unrealistic.
But he denies reports circulating in the market that any of them have been sold on subjects.
