The 28,500-dwt Super Challenge (built 1996), which is said to have been sold to an undisclosed buyer for $4.6m, is due for special survey in November next year.
Lars Christian Skarsgaard, head of shipowning at Stove, confirms the sale but says he cannot comment further.
In 2013, Stove sold the Tsuneishi-built, sistership Super Adventure (built 1996) for a reported $8.5m.
