The Uljanik-built, 43,000-dwt Nautilus (built 1998) has reportedly fetched $8.8m, in line with expectations.
Marflet has a fleet of four MR tankers, excluding the Nautilus, all built at Uljanik, between 2004 and 2006. In addition, the company last year signed up for two 50,000-dwt tankers at the same yard for delivery in 2015 and 2016. No prices were then disclosed but the newbuildings could be worth $35m to $36m each.
