In 2014, the 29 companies that make up the conglomerate had consolidated revenues of ¥289.9bn ($2.42bn), up 2% on the figures in 2013.
Its shipbuilding division reported a gain of 7% on the previous year, with revenue of ¥223.6bn, while shipping activities were up 30% to ¥43.6bn.
Last year, Tsuneishi said it had built 55 ships and won new orders for 57 more.
