Sources say the UK-based company has disposed of the Jiangnan-built, 45,000-dwt Colchester Castle (built 1996) to a Singapore-based buyer for $4.1m, which is only slightly over its demolition value. Bought as Getaldic for $16m in 2011, it is due for special survey in June next year. Navalmar did not respond to requests for comments.
In March, it sold the 45,000-dwt bulker Rochester Castle (built 1997).
