Zim has made good on its promise to launch a new service via the Suez Canal.
The Zim Seven Star Express (Z7S) will begin operating next month with 10 ships of 5,000 teu to 6,500 teu.
The move comes as the Ocean Three (O3) partners are reportedly planning an all-water service via the Panama Canal using nine panamax boxships of 4,000 teu to 5,000 teu.
