The final approval comes from Mexico’s Comision Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH) for multi-beam data acquisition, coring and geochemical analysis of samples.
The new project will cover all of Mexico’s deepwater area, while including the Perdido Fold Belt and Campeche Bay. Data acquisition is to start in the third quarter of this year, with planned completion early in the fourth quarter of next year.
