Speaking during a second-quarter results briefing, Golar chief executive Gary Smith revealed that the company, which markets its activities in this sector under the GoFLNG name, is looking at slotting a fourth conversion in at Keppel Shipyard for an early 2019 delivery slot.
“With the growing level of momentum that we have with a range of customers, now we’re actively discussing with both Black & Veatch and Keppel the possibility of doing a fourth conversion,” he said.
