A battle for an insurance broking team with close connections to many top US shipowners is underway, with the Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) group understood to be the front-runner.
JLT and big privately owned Kansas City-based insurance broking group Lockton Companies are vying to recruit John Betz and a number of other brokers he has previously worked with.
