South Korean shipyard officials find themselves at the end of a tirade of complaints from their European counterparts angered by financial support handed out to DSME amid forecasts that the yard will register a $5.65bn pre-tax loss this year and have to be saved by a government-backed bailout.
European yards made their frustration over the deal clear at an OECD shipbuilding meeting in Paris earlier this month.
