A search for a raft of conventional LNG carriers that will be used to take on transhipment cargoes from the 15 specialised Arc7 vessels serving Russia’s Yamal LNG project has been nudged back as market uncertainties mount.
The process to acquire seven to eight additional LNG carriers had been expected to start in early November with a view to inking firm charter contracts before the end of this year.
